I'm a big fan of only using lower, airy type nug. It should turn to dust when you twist it or do anything of the sort. The nug on the other hand, dry it out as much as you want. You want it very dry, but not overly dry, if that makes any sense. If you overdry the trim it can literally dust. I generally only use trim, but if I do have some nugs, I do them in another bag, and on their own kinda schedule. I typically dry my nug SEPARATE from my trim. But you can certainly use fresh trim to make this. Aged trim does just as well, if not better. You can do that in the short term, but keep an eye on it, lol. I had a unit that went down to 35% and stopped there, but also had an 'on' mode where it would just run no matter what. if it's wet or moist, it will not work as well and will gum up your screens. Even a 25 or 30 gph unit will do wonders in a small closet overnight. You do not have to, but I find it greatly helps, especially if you are trying to run product in a moist environment or part of the country/world.

I really like using a small (or large) dehumidifier. and obviously there are no fans or anything of the sort, so onto drying. Dry brittle fan leaves break up into very small fragments of green very easily, so try to avoid them as much as possible. We want a very organic, very clean and very pure product that uses no chemicals, and as a result we just have to spend a few extra minutes keeping our product clean. You don't want them, and this method is far less forgiving than others, being you do not have either the water, or the butane/whatever. Since we're starting from the very beginning, i'll go ahead and say that I encourage removing any/all fan leaves from your product well ahead of the point where you intend on drying/running any type of dry sift. so last time I didn't really go over my method, and I am getting a few confused readers out there, so i'm gonna go start to finish on how I do it, exactly as I do it so there are hopefully, far fewer questions.
